Description: The vision for this special interest group is to create a forum for companies producing diagnostic technologies which involve the application of sensor systems and/or detection of biological interactions.
Biosensing for diagnostics is a critical and ever-evolving field in the realm of healthcare and biotechnology. It encompasses a wide range of techniques and technologies aimed at detecting and measuring specific biological markers or molecules through the detection of biological interactions within the device. These technologies are most often found in point-of-care applications, for example blood glucose monitors or lateral flow devices. Join us, Loughborough University, University of Nottingham and Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust to find out “What the National Rehabilitation Centre (NRC) can do for you?”.
The NRC’s aim is to bring research, innovation, education and training alongside clinical practice to drive excellence in rehabilitation.
The NRC programme received formal Government approval in 2023 for the £105million plans. Work is now progressing in earnest to create the 70-bed, purpose-built and highly energy efficient new facility as part of the Government’s New Hospital Programme.
