How to Access MidTECH

There has been a change to our membership scheme! Under the new working model starting from April 2019 our services are now available to all NHS organisations across the West Midlands region with no fee!

As we are a partner of the West Midlands Academic Health Science Network (WMAHSN), who themselves have a new business model, you can now access our services through them. The WMASHN is uniquely placed to lead collaboration between the NHS, academia and the healthcare industry across the West Midlands and accelerates the adoption of new innovations. MidTECH’s experience and expertise in protecting and developing innovative new ideas, devices and services make us a natural partner organisation for the WMAHSN.

Your NHS organisation now can now enjoy the benefits of our experience and expertise in developing, delivering and protecting innovation without a membership fee. In a rapidly shifting healthcare environment and with ever-multiplying challenges on every front, innovation has never been more important. We now help all NHS organisations across the West Midlands to innovate efficiently, effectively and strategically.

We work with NHS organisations in the West Midlands in a range of different ways, fitting the precise shape of services to their organisational needs and strengths. Our network is so wide, and our skills are so diverse, that we can identify opportunities across all kinds of innovation activity. Our job is to understand how each individual NHS organisation generates new ideas and apply the processes and tools necessary to capture them, protect them – and ensure they deliver real benefit to patients, staff and NHS Trusts alike.

This means that, in addition to providing access to our consultants and services, it also offers NHS organisations access to the platforms, networks and the expertise of the WMAHSN. This is ideal for NHS organisations that are serious about innovation and do not want to be left behind!
