Staff at Sandwell Community Healthcare Services have created an innovative programme, which is set to benefit youngsters by detecting and treating speech and language difficulties.

MidTECH – NHS Innovations West Midlands attended a luncheon with the Rt Hon Gordon Brown MP which was held at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens on Thursday 3^rd December 2009.

Four new working groups have been announced to bolster the low carbon, digital technologies, healthcare and advanced manufacturing sectors in the region.

The NIHR's Invention for Innovation (i4i) programme would like to invite submissions of applications to funding streams 3a and 3b (FPD3a and FPD3b).

Public asked to consult on £20 million Innovation Challenge Prizes

A £220 million fund will be made available to encourage innovation within the NHS, Health Minister Lord Darzi announced today, during an event at the Science Museum in London to mark the launch of ‘Innovation for a Healthier Future’, a series of initiatives to nurture and reward innovation within the NHS.
